APPROACH

HD Awards sought to refresh their website for the upcoming 2020 awards. Stepping it up into the digital age, they wanted to make their service fully accessible online. This included bringing an ecommerce side to their website, making the application process digital and implementing a smooth user journey while updating the design.

ACTIONS

As per request, HD Awards decided they wanted a modern and refreshed website, upon which a colour scheme change, new design elements, and a revised user journey was planned and created. All of this was implemented to suit the traditional feel of the website while giving it a modern twist. The colour scheme was maintained throughout the website to instil the brand in every page while not overwhelming the user. Small design elements such as icons, lines and white spaces were carefully thought out to see that users maintain engaged on every page added with a smooth user journey.

THE RESULT

HD Awards were upgraded with a fully refreshed user interface and a revised user experience in order to encourage more applicants and users throughout the site. Each page, keeping the tone of the brand, has its own features thus making it easier for users as well as applicants, to stay engaged. Their digitalised process will make sure that the awards are easier access to all across the UK, and their revised design and interface will encourage enthusiasts to keep up with the latest news and awards.
